Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.

The Wholesale Control (WC) organization serves as the front line risk management organization within the Wholesale Banking group of Wells Fargo supporting the Wholesale businesses with risk strategy, implementation, and execution. The Wholesale Control team is accountable to assess and effectively manage risks across all risk types and Wholesale businesses delivering an integrated view of risks, producing a sustainable control environment, and instilling a culture of strong risk management. The team is responsible to identify and assess risks, design and implement controls, and execute and monitor the controls to ensure they are working effectively to manage risk across Wholesale. Wholesale Control interfaces with Independent Risk Management and Audit to drive comprehensive and consistent implementation of regulatory and corporate risk policies and programs across Wholesale.

This is a position within the Wholesale Control Regulatory Control organization and reports to the Executive responsible for International Regulatory Controls. This role will be responsible for ensuring consistent and comprehensive regulatory control engagement and execution across the International regions.

Responsibilities may include:

--- Partner with Regional Control Organizations, Wholesale Control Executive Organization, and key stakeholders to manage complex international regulatory risk activities, including coordination of requests with multiple regions/lines of business and functions
--- Triage and manage international regulatory changes
--- Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements consistent with the risk management framework and policies established by IRM
--- Comfortable preparing and communicating with Internal Business Leadership
--- Control Design for international regions based on US and local regulations.
--- Comprehensive life-cycle issue remediation management across regions
--- Defining and ensuring execution and maintenance of risk tolerance statements, KPIs, monitoring, reporting and escalation to ensure visibility to/ownership of operating quality and regulatory compliance gaps and issues
--- Partner to help manage Audit, IRM and Regulator engagements to ensure a consistent engagement model and effective ownership and remediation of issues
--- Lead or assist in international regulatory risk related projects

Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

--- 6+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 6+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both

--- Knowledge and understanding of maintaining and updating SharePoint team web content.
--- Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations and ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications.
--- Meaningful knowledge across enterprise risk management framework, including: risk identification, risk appetite and strategy, risk-related decisions, processes and controls, risk analytics and governance.
--- Understanding of best-practice risk management techniques across financial services industry.
--- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and understanding of how they are implemented, managed and enforced.
--- Deep technical understanding of specific International business operations, processes, controls, products, and customer interactions and where they manifest risk.

Job Expectations

--- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

TX-DAL-Downtown Dallas: Min: $80,500 Mid: $115,000
NC-Charlotte: Min: $80,500 Mid: $115,000
