Job Description Business Execution Consultant – Capital Markets Delivery Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) Duration: 12 Months Contract Client: Large Financial Institution Overview We are seeking a Business Execution Consultant to support strategic delivery initiatives within a Market Risk and Capital Markets organization . This role will serve as a senior execution partner to leadership , helping coordinate and drive delivery across multiple product areas and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate brings strong program delivery, stakeholder management, and execution leadership experience within large financial institutions , along with the ability to translate complex initiatives into structured and measurable delivery plans. Key Responsibilities Partner with senior leaders and Product Owners to plan, prioritize, and execute strategic initiatives Coordinate delivery across multiple product teams and workstreams Track program health, risks, issues, and dependencies across initiatives Manage delivery milestones and roadmap alignment across 5–7 concurrent product areas Utilize JIRA and Agile tooling to manage backlogs, dependencies, and reporting Develop and deliver executive-level reporting and updates for senior leadership Collaborate with Technology, Risk, and Product teams to ensure successful program delivery Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes and execution governance Required Qualifications 8 years of experience in program delivery, business execution, consulting, or strategy roles Experience delivering initiatives within large financial institutions Strong hands-on experience with JIRA for program tracking and reporting Experience coordinating delivery across multiple product teams Excellent communication and executive presentation skills Ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives Preferred Qualifications Experience within Capital Markets, Market Risk, Investment Banking, Treasury, or Regulatory Reporting Background in enterprise program management or PMO environments Experience working in Agile delivery frameworks Consulting experience supporting financial services organizations Ideal Candidate Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline Comfortable working with senior leadership and technical teams Able to translate complex initiatives into structured execution plans Highly organized with strong risk, dependency, and delivery management skills
