Corporate Accounting Consultant - Contract hybrid Charlotte Primary
Responsibilities • Support the consolidations process by partnering
with Corporate Accounting and international teams to identify
intercompany activity and implement processes that ensure accurate
reporting and eliminations. • Perform detailed review and analysis
across major accounting areas, including revenue, cost of sales,
licensing, accounts receivable and reserves, inventory and related
provisions, and affiliate accounting. • Oversee timely completion,
review, and documentation of monthly and quarterly balance sheet
reconciliations to ensure accuracy and proper ledger maintenance. •
Collaborate with cross?functional departments—including FP& A, Tax,
and others—on monthly and quarterly reporting for executive
leadership. • Support the Corporate Accounting team throughout the
external audit process. • Ensure the accounting team is properly
staffed, trained, and aligned to meet daily operational needs as
well as monthly and quarterly reporting deadlines. • Develop,
implement, and maintain internal financial and accounting policies
and procedures. • Lead process improvements to enhance the
efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls of the financial close
and reporting cycle. • Partner with senior leadership on special
projects requiring detailed financial analysis. • Mentor, coach,
and support the growth of both direct and indirect team members. •
Perform additional ad hoc projects as assigned. Qualifications &
Preferred Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required;
Master’s degree in Accounting or Business preferred. • CPA
certification required. • 10 years of combined experience in audit,
financial reporting, and corporate consolidations. • Public
accounting experience preferred. • Strong technical accounting
expertise, including revenue recognition. • IFRS experience
required; experience in a franchised business model is a plus. •
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the
ability to collaborate effectively with remote and cross?functional
teams. • Strong analytical and problem?solving abilities with high
attention to detail. • Advanced Excel proficiency required. •
Experience with Oracle, Planful, or similar financial systems is a
plus
