We are currently searching for a detail-oriented and motivated accountant to join our Government Accounting & Advisory Team for local governments in Virginia and Tennessee. The consulting services group of ClearPoint CPAs focuses primarily on assisting localities in areas such as: · Audit readiness · Financial management assistance · Internal controls Requirements: · 3-5 years of governmental accounting experience · Strong working knowledge of Excel · Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client engagements efficiently · Strong communication skills and a client-first mindset Preferred : · Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting · Governmental accounting or audit experience · Strong analytical skills · Ability to work effectively in a team environment Work Location : · Johnson City, TN or Norton, VA · Remote work may be an option · Minimal travel Job Types : · Full-time or Flex positions available. Salary: · Compensatory with experience. This is a salaried position.
