All while understanding that together we are even better. /n /n/n /n Schedule: PRN /n /n/n /n Shift: Vary /n /n/n /n Location: AdventHealth Hendersonville /n /n/n /n The role you’ll contribute: /n /n/n /n Responsible for performing ultrasound exams and documenting proper charges. /n /n/n /n The value you’ll bring to the team /n /n/n /n/n /n - Independently perform standard US examinations. /n /n - Schedule patients for examinations. /n /n - Evaluate the nature of critical and emergency procedures, and rearrange patients scheduled to accommodate them. /n /n - In performance of ultrasound examinations, receive patient, explain method of procedure, select proper transducer, follow set protocols and scan appropriately as indicated by clinical diagnosis. /n /n - Recognize abnormalities while scanning and make appropriate exposures /n /n - Present diagnostic sonograms and paperwork to the radiologist with appropriate patient history for review to allow for further scanning and to avoid repeat scans. /n /n/n /n/n /n Qualifications /n /n/n /n The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: /n /n/n /n/n /n - High school graduate or equivalent required. /n /n - Graduate of a 2-year Allied Health program required. /n /n - Registered in ARDMS required. /n /n - Current American Heart Association BLS Certification Required /n /n/n /n/n /n This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
