All while understanding that together we are even better. /n /n/n /n Schedule:Full Time /n /n/n /n Shift: Monday - Friday with 2 weekends a month rotating /n /n/n /n Location: 100 Hospital Drive, Hendersonville, NC 28792 /n /n/n /n The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Hendersonville /n /n/n /n/n /n - Convenient access, with locations across Western North Carolina /n /n/n /n - Beautiful mountain scenery /n /n/n /n - Historic towns and cities full of specialty shops, art galleries and unique restaurants /n /n/n /n/n /n The role you’ll contribute: /n /n/n /n Provides behavioral health therapy services for adolescent and women in an acute care setting. /n /n/n /n The value you’ll bring to the team: /n /n/n /n •Conducts comprehensive assessments to include risk assessment and establishes therapy treatment objectives /n /n •Provides referrals for patients within the agency and community /n /n •Administers individual, family, and group therapy sessions /n /n •Documents therapy observations and maintains records, while adhering to confidentiality protocols /n /n •Evaluates patient progress and therapy intervention effectiveness /n /n •Provides patients information about community resources and therapeutic activities /n /n •Works directly with patients, family members, physicians, and community providers to ensure collaborative and /n /n continuous care /n /n •Maintains solid clinical skills including knowledge of DSM-IV-TR and DSM-5, community resources, process of /n /n payor source identification, and short-term intervention strategies /n /n •Evaluate patient data, develops and implements a treatment plan for the patient /n /n •Responsible for performing psychosocial assessments on patients to determine social service needs, diagnosis and /n /n treatment plan. The assessment to be completed within 60 hours of admission /n /n •Identify and intervene for suspected abuse, including sensitivity to age specific concerns /n /n •Participate in the multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, providing clinical input /n /n •Formulates discharge plan in collaboration with the multidisciplinary treatment team, the patient and the family.
